There are two main types of gate: 1. Swing gate: Consisting of two leafs, it can be motorised in four different ways: - Motors with arms. This minimises stress on the structure and opens quickly to protect the door. - Hydraulic motors These are perfectly suited to small spaces or when your gate is regularly exposed to the wind. However, they are not recommended for PVC and unreinforced aluminium gates. - Built-in motors. These motorised systems are 100% invisible and installed directly inside the gate! - Underground motors. These discreet motors are installed under the gate. 2. Sliding gate: Its mechanism can be mounted on the gate itself or guided by rail. For this installation, the motorised system is selected based on the size and weight of the gate.
It's more convenient and safer. Instead of parking on the highway and getting out to open your gate, you activate opening by remote control and your gate opens in a few seconds. It closes and locks automatically after you have passed. If anyone tries to force it open, the motor exerts a counter-force. Smooth operation helps your gate last longer.
